Evaluate the first derivative of the following function,
F (x) = cos 4x
using 15 evenly spaced points in the interval 0 (use 15, not 16 points!). Calculate the analytical derivative at these points, the derivative using the second-order accurate central difference approximation (using first order one-sided differences at each boundary). Also use the fourth-order Pad´e scheme with third-order boundary treatment presented in class. Plot the derivatives versus x. There will be three curves: for the analytic derivative, for the central difference, and for the Pad´e evaluation.
