# Determine Polynomial Function and Estimate Data Values Using MATLAB

**Question**

Write a MATLAB program named yourlastnameL6.m that will do the following:

- Load the experimental data from the Microsoft excel file xlsx.
- Plot the experimental data in a figure window. The plot should show the experimental data points as blue X’s with no line. Appropriately annotate the plot.
- Estimate what the data values at t = 1.32 seconds, t = 6.25 seconds, and t = 9.0 seconds are using interpolation.
- Determine the best fit polynomial function describing the experimental data. Determine the least squared error (sum of squared error) for the best fit polynomial.
- Plot the experimental data points and the best fit polynomial function describing the experimental data on the same axes in a figure window. The plot should show the experimental data point’s as blue X’s with no line and the best fit polynomial function describing the experimental data as a solid red line. Appropriately annotate the plot.
